You cannot go wrong with Melissa or her unit. We have been doing VRBO rentals for years between South Carolina and Florida and this has been the best owner stocked unit we have ever stayed in. In many other units you will find empty cupboards, no detergent, no dish soap, minimal or no beach towels, no bikes, no beach toys, no umbrellas, etc. Those canned rental units that are vanilla and the same. THIS UNIT HAS IT ALL!!!!! This unit was loaded! Two different type of coffee makers (K-Cup and drip) which is awesome as 3 cup a day drinkers, unused sunscreen (we also left our extra unused for the next guests), laundry detergent, tons of cutlery, pots, pans, cups, etc. There is no need to run out for anything but food. Melissa has taken great care to make sure people feel at home. She is also a very responsive owner with a wonderful attitude and sense of humor. The dryer stopped working, a new one appeared after I reached out to her. A tire came all the way off the rim of a bike, it was picked up, fixed and returned. Melissa is amazing and provides you with all the means for you to have a great time. Remember you are on a beach vacation, we feel all you need is, coffee, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sunscreen, water and wine. We provided the water and wine and found cups in the unit with lids and a cooler to bring to beach!!!

We were in Sanibel early July 2018. Melissa did an amazing job of making the condo feel like home. It was decorated great and very comfortable -especially the bed. The condo also has a neat shower. This condo is a bike ride away from the shops and restaurants and Melissa even provides the bikes! Sandpiper Beach is awesome and NEVER crowded. We enjoyed walking at night and saw THE MOST AMAZING SUNSETS EVER. The condo had a great view of the ocean and the pool was very inviting. Sanibel itself more than lives up to its reputation for SHELLS!!! Shells and sand dollars were literally everywhere. BEST free souvenirs ever. The restaurants were delicious and our favorite was the Island Cow (go hungry). Our favorite ice cream was Joey's Custard, went there almost every night. I want to thank Melissa for sharing her "storage closet of fun" with the renters. I have been to condos where there are not items available to take to the beach and they have to be rented at an additional expense. Melissa shared everything and I greatly appreciated it, especially the sand wagon, umbrella and chairs. Thank you Melissa for sharing your amazing condo and allowing us to experience Sanibel and all it has to offer.

We had such a wonderful vacation! Melissa was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my messages. Her home is very clean, cozy and we felt very comfortable there. The condo’s pool is nice, not crowded and often empty. The beach is great and pretty quiet too. We enjoyed collecting shells on the beach—20 konk shells one morning! We saw live sand dollars and a star fish. The storage shed has 4 bikes, helmets and all the beach gear you could possibly want :) We highly recommended staying here and plan to do so again one day.

Had rain had sun had a great time. Condo is stocked with everything you need. Clean and great location . Owner is easy to contact if you do need anything. I would highly recommend this place.

Fabulous amenities, great location, homey, restful interior. What a treat...no need to bring anything. Bikes to ride, chairs for the beach, coolers for your beverages and views of wonderful sunrises and sunsets from your balcony! One of the best VRBO we've vacationed in. Don't know what was better, the comfortable beds or the fact that so much was provided for our comfort. We will be back. Thank you Melissa for sharing your piece of paradise.

We’ve stayed here twice, once with the new owner. I can’t rate this place highly enough. Sandpiper Beach is at the end of a dead end road, so it’s quiet. It has literally everything you want for a week at the beach.easy beach Access, heated pool, bikes, chairs, BBQ stuff, a fully stocked kitchen, you name it, they have it. The condo is flawless. 501 is perfect for a family with kids or two couples looking for luxury on Sanibel. Absolutely will book again.
